How it works

An SEO team's whole week,
run every single day.

Ascent is an agent, not a tool you operate. You describe your business once. From then on it researches, writes, audits and publishes on its own, and shows you everything it did.

The cycle

Six phases, every cycle

One complete page per cycle, on the cadence you choose: daily, every three days, or weekly. Predictable, auditable, and relentless.

01

Research

The agent studies live search results for your market: what your competitors rank for, which questions people ask, and where the gaps are. Research reruns on a schedule, so the plan follows the market instead of a snapshot of it.

02

Plan

Every keyword gets scored for business value, not just volume. A roofing company profits more from one page that wins storm damage repair in its city than ten pages of trivia. The highest value uncovered keyword goes first.

03

Generate

The agent writes a complete page in your brand's voice, using your real services, locations, phone number and address. It leads with the answer, cites real statistics, and includes the passages AI engines quote.

04

Enrich

Structured data, meta tags, breadcrumbs, image artwork and internal links are added automatically. Older pages get updated to link forward to the new one, so authority flows through the whole library.

05

Score

Every page faces an audit before it ships: depth, structure, trust signals, local relevance, and a comparison against its own siblings so near duplicates never publish. Pages that score below the bar are rewritten, not published.

06

Publish

The page goes live on your website, on your domain, as plain readable HTML. The agent verifies the live URL, updates your sitemap, and pings the search engines so indexing starts immediately.

The quality gate

Pages below the bar never ship

Volume without quality is spam, and Google penalizes it. Every page is scored against three pillars before publishing, and a page that scores under 75 of 100 goes back for a rewrite instead of going live.

Substance

Does the page match search intent, cover the topic deeply, and add information that is not already on your site or your competitors' sites?

Signal

Are the trust signals present: consistent business data, internal links, real sources, entity clarity that engines can resolve?

Structure

Is the page technically right: structured data, meta tags, heading order, fast load, indexable markup that any crawler can read?

There is also an information gain check: each draft is compared against the pages already ranking for its keyword and against its own siblings. A draft that adds nothing new does not publish. That is the difference between a content library and a content farm.

The feedback loop

It studies what worked, then does more of it

Connect Google Search Console and real ranking data flows back into the plan every cycle. Keywords that climb get reinforced with supporting pages. Pages that go stale get rewritten and republished with a fresh date. Coverage gaps a competitor still owns move up the queue.

That loop is what an agency retainer is actually paying for, and it is the part humans do least consistently. The agent never skips a week.

Built for AI answers too

More buying decisions now start with a question to ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews than with a scroll through blue links. Every page Ascent publishes is structured so an answer engine can lift it whole: the answer in the opening lines, quotable statistics, complete schema, and plain HTML that AI crawlers can actually read without running JavaScript.

Your robots.txt allowlists the AI crawlers by name, and an llms.txt file gives agents and developer tools a direct map of your site.

Your competitors published
a page today.

Every day without new pages is a day someone else takes the ranking and the AI recommendation. Turn the agent on and stop giving them the head start.
